The Starting

I know I have far to go to prove just who I am
But I have finally found the passion to try and make this stand.
My slowly spreading smile begins to say it all.
That no longer am I afraid, afraid to take this fall
My darker days are over my vision is now clear
I`m throwing back my shoulders I`m wiping away my tear.
Being in this rut, no longer will it do
Its time that I stood up,time that I grew
No point in spreading wings if I have a fear to fly
Or having my head in these clouds if I never reach the sky
I`m willing now to open my eyes let the passion be undone
Remove from me negativety that `ive so long become
The fear of the unknown now fuels whats in my heart
So I will make this my beginning its a good place to start.

Reasoning

My name is Ellie and I have lived in Cornwall all my life . I have decided to write this blog as a way of expressing my love and passion for the real Cornwall; not what people who visit see or sadly what some of the people who actually live here see but something that makes me stop and count myself lucky for where I live and what I appreciate.

My two main passions are writing and photography so I am lucky to be able to catalogue places I love and places I visit both in word and image.

I will try and make this blog useful by detailing places of interest to people who like the outdoors and the wild and natural side that Cornwall has to offer as long as people are willing to open their eyes and really see what is in front of them. Sadly this is not often the case. People get too wrapped up in the materialism of life and business lifestyles and miss the small stitches that so carefully hold life together.
